Dead Rider (ex-US Maple) w/ Florida=Death, Space Orphans and Phemale @ The Outer Space

Now here's a show I can get behind. The Outer Space are putting on a show of very strange musicians.

Dead Rider (ex US MAPLE)
For the past year and a half, the band formerly known as D. Rider has been busy recording, playing shows… and adding to their lineup. In 2009 they released their darkly psychedelic debut album, Mother Of Curses, while playing shows across the country. The original lineup of Todd Rittmann (vocals, guitar, harmonica, drums), Andrea Faught (synth, vocals, horns), and Noah Tabakin (saxophone, vocals, synth) saw the addition of Theo Katsaounis on drums to complete a live act that would tour the country and gain a reputation as a challenging and entertaining powerhouse.

Florida=Death
Since 2005 Florida=Death have been focused on committing sound to tape with an ever increasing mountain of broken equipment. They have played countless obscure shows in obscure underground venues throughout the North East. Florida-Death has described their sound as “Post Information” , which is also the name of their upcoming Lp will be out on AMOD / Obscure Me Records spring 2014. ”This album is a complete and wonderful collection, a statement on the direction of modern art and civilization. “ reviewed by CT Indie. They are Currently listening to Mobb Deep.

Space Orphans
From the minds that brought you Kimono Draggin' comes SPACE ORPHANS. The sound is built upon a thick foundation of scratchy guitars, weighty drums, relentlessly shifting rhythms and rowdy animated vocals. Their arrangement adds a blanket layer of cosmic essence, worthy of their name, while the musical structures are focused, finely tuned and surprisingly melodic.

Phemale
Phemale is a musical/ theatrical act currently based out of New Haven, CT. Phemale utilizes elaborate handmade costumes, masks, and stage sets to tell stories from an imaginary city called "wet hood", all accompanied by original music.
