Remember when we were talking about Matt Sargent? One of the projects that he is part of, called Sunspots, is playing The Space. Here's a bio:

If you pulled the rusting factories, odd urban centers, and dairy farms of Connecticut into a sound, you’d come close to a band like Sunspots. The Hartford-based band started writing songs in the summer of 2009. They recorded a handful of these songs in a converted factory mill in the fall, and have since been playing to audiences across the Northeast. While maintaining projects outside the band ranging from contemporary/experimental music ensembles to rhythm-and-blues bands, Kevin, Fredo, Matt Sargent, and Charlie Dye come together to craft fine-tuned songs, which sometimes deviate into post-country tunes (think Silver Jews or Smog) and occasionally deconstruct into fuzzed-out analog synth jam outs.

The group is currently busy at work finishing tracks for an EP release this summer.

Also playing are Maribelle, acoustic indie rock from Chicago, Illinois and locals Hi Planes Drifter an indie/ experimental band.
