Black Stool reunite for good cause

You knew it eventually had to happen, but local grindcore miscreants Black Stool, which features Mike Polce (guitar), Dennis Morin (bass), Chris Barry (drums), Kenny Albert (vocals) and some guy named Chip McCabe (vocals) have reformed, but this time it's for a good cause. They will be performing this Friday, May 18 at Cherry Street Station in Wallingford to benefit the Yale Smilow Cancer Center in New Haven. (They were helped along with this by Deolinda Sullivan).

All money collected at the door and from Black Stool merchandise, which includes some of their Scanners t-shirts and a remix of their last demo, will go to the hospital.

"Well, I can tell you that we decided to do this now because a) we were presented with an opportunity to help raise money for a good cause and b) we were all in need on an outlet to expel some excess rage. Ha!," said McCabe.

Also appearing at the show will be Stone Titan, She Walks Without Legs, Vaitarna and Retard Riot 2000.

So here's your chance to rage for a good cause. Don't miss it.

Here's the info for people who like lists.
