Iron Hand, Stone Titan, Elder and Gowl this Saturday in Wallingford

There is another awesome show going on this weekend somewhere in Wallingford, with a bunch of great bands, who are listed below. As always, you will be meeting at Redscroll Records and then taken to the secret place. So if any of the bands listed below are your cup of filth, then head on down. The show is relatively cheap and the bands are really good. So there you have it.

Iron Hand Brian and the boys are coming off a barnstorming show opening for Weedeater last Tuesday. So they'll be in prime form for this show. As always, you know they bring the crust you lust for, so make sure you get down there for them. Also, you can check out, if they still have copies, the two awesome 7" records ("Usurper Divine" on Redscroll and "Liquid Assets" on Safety Meeting Records) they put out last year. Maybe get a t-shirt. Great stuff.

Stone Titan These hate filled slude-metal dudes hail from South Windsor and will be celebrating the release of a brand new 7" at the show. So, if you like it downtuned and heavy, then definitely check them out. Another awesome local CT band.

Elder While they are not from CT, these Massachusetts riff rockers, just released an excellent sophomore disc, "Dead Roots Stirring" on MeteorCity late last year and will blow you away with their epic metal jams bolstered by guitarist/vocalist Nick DiSalvo scintillating leads. Another winner.

Gowl These guys are from Tolland and from what I know of that, it's enough to make you to start an angry grind band and that's just what they did. Catch them at a local show before they go on tour later this summer with Misanthropic Noise and maybe never come back.

Saturday May 5, 2012 Meet at Redscroll Records 24 North Colony Road Wallingford, CT 06492 (203) 265-7013 And then be whisked away to the super awesome secret location for the show. 7:30pm - $5 - All Ages No drinking/no bullshit
