New Haven grungy rockers Murdervan are playing one final gig to properly send off their guitarist Shaun Bowen, who will be moving to California soon for school. So head on down this Saturday and celebrate with the band and a bunch of other great bands from the New Haven area.

Here's what people are saying:

"We really just wanted to put together a show with bands we've played with over the years and some old friends who haven't played together in a long time. It'll be more like a party than anything. And Dennis at cherry street is the best. He's always had a sort of open door policy with Murdervan and countless other bands. One of the nicest dudes out there. And for the most part, everyone that shows up to Cherry Street is there for the same reason...to hear music. There's never been any bullshit or hassles or assholes any time I've been there. Just musicians watching musicians ya know," said Andre Roman, Murdervan bassist.

"Red Blade are very psyched to play this show. We've been playing with Murdervan and Vultures for many years- sad to see Shaun go so we're definitely gonna rage extra hard and send him off right. Thee Musical Marinades reunion really ices the cake. On our end, we've got some crushing new amps and new material we want to try out. A lot of friends will be there and Cherry Street is such a laid-back environment, I think all the bands are gonna be playing very well," said Ben Erickson, Red Blade guitarist.

I think I know where you should be this Saturday night.
