Rock yer Socks has a trilogy of shows this week:

GM is a 100% acoustic group. Ghost Mice’s lyrics mostly involve trying to hold onto a positive outlook on life in the midst of fear and depression. Common themes of their songs include riding bikes, eating healthy food, love, stealing, scamming, traveling, building sustainable radical communities, death, family, depression, and suicide. Opening band: No Jazz Tonight. This show is an early one, in fact, it starts in a little over an hour! Get your slacker ass moving!

This band was born and raised in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. It writes songs about discouraging times and plays those songs with enough hope and joy to put a smile on even the most hardened cynic’s face. Even their own.
