So what the heck is a "Moon Cheese Baby"?? Well according to the show's Facebook Page: "Moon Cheese is bi-weekly show, hosted by Karrie B, on Sunday mornings from 9am-Noon". Karrie Bulger has been featuring scores of local artists for years and years now on WCNI New London, and we were able to get some of her time and some answers to our questions!
What made you decide to start Moon Cheese Baby?
My love of music and my best friend, Nicole. We wanted to add to the great music played on WCNI, a station known for embracing anything left of the dial. We chose “Rise Up with Fists” by Jenny Lewis to open every show. Nine years later, Nicole is gone (moved to Canada) but Moon Cheese Baby remains.
