Formed in Boise in 1992, Built To Spill have influenced countless followers including indie chart toppers Modest Mouse and Death Cab For Cutie. Their transcendent live shows have become legendary. Doug’s Martsch's strong aesthetic combines with the band members’ mix of approaches to create an aural topography. He sets course and navigates. With the complexity and variety of music they have created, Built to Spill endeavors to make songs interesting to themselves and their audience.Year after year, new fans show up. Three and a half years in the making, Doug’s notoriously fastidious writing and recording process pays off big with the latest album “There Is No Enemy.”

Built To Spill - "Hindsight":

At a time when the indie rock scene was close to non-existent in Mexico, Chikita Violenta broke through as a strong independent artistic unit, causing a stream of other emerging independents to follow and a do-it-yourself subculture to emerge in Mexico. Hailing from Mexico City, Chikita Bonita has become the pioneer band for the new Mexican indie wave with two studio albums released to date and the anticipation of their third, TRE3S, set to be released in mid August. With their unique bold English language approach to music that was once unheard of in Mexico, Chikita Violenta has developed a diverse fan base between countries and has plans to tour both Mexico and the U.S. this year.
